AbstractAbstract
In 2025, AI design will go through three advances: generative tools enter production, agents begin to perform multi-step tasks, and regulatory and copyright requirements force teams to establish a chain of responsibility. The design ability no longer only looks at the quality of the generation.
2025 Timeline and Evidence
The U.S. Copyright Office released a report on AI copyrightability in January.
The AI literacy and GPAI obligations of the EU AI Act apply in February and August respectively.
Google, OpenAI, etc. promote agent, coding and multi-modal workflows during the year.

In-depth research
The industry moves from an individual trial to the organizational stage.High-quality teams need to manage both prompts, models, data, versions, permissions, manual judgments, and user influences, and explain why a result is being used.
Design Response Design Response
Divide AI tasks into exploration, production, and high-risk decisions.
02 Set evidence and approval requirements for each type of task.
Use real results rather than generating quantitative evaluation inputs.

AURELIS observation
The advantage of 2026 will not come from more generated buttons, but from clear questions, reliable processes, and responsible editorial judgment.
