The Third United Nations Ocean Conference was held in Nice from 9 to 13 June.Ocean issues require the design industry to face both material spills, coastal resilience, logistics, tourism and community livelihoods.
2025 Timeline and Evidence
The conference, co-hosted by France and Costa Rica, focused on the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 14.
Marine pollution, ecological protection, financing and scientific cooperation are the main topics.
The material selection at the end of the product will enter a larger water system through production, use and waste.
