AbstractAbstract
The New European Bauhaus Facility roadmap, released on March 25, connects research innovations from 2025-2027 to community implementation, with a focus on sustainable, inclusive and welcoming communities.
2025 Timeline and Evidence
The NEB Facility is a multi-year funding tool for 2025-2027.
The official roadmap was released on March 25, and the first round of solicitation is scheduled to start in May.
The project focuses on community renewal, circular construction, social inclusion and local participation.

Institution of Institutions Study
Compared to one-off landmarks, community updates require designers to deal with property rights, maintenance, generational differences and public resources over the long term. The results of the research must be understood by the residents and implemented in real budgets.
Design Response Design Response
List residential organizations as common decision-makers rather than respondents.
Space, social and carbon impact indicators are also set.
Reserve resources for maintenance and governance after the completion of the pilot.

AURELIS observation
The Facility pushes design research from concept presentation to neighborhood scale, and evaluation criteria shift from novelty to sustainability.
