2025 Timeline and Evidence

In January, the U.S. Copyright Office made clear the importance of human authorship.

The first EU AI Act obligations have been applied since February, and the GPAI guidelines were released in July.

Organizations such as Google have disclosed the actual proportions of generative media entering large-scale production.

Early AI trials often relied on personal skills, but on scale they required permissions, versions, evaluations, sources, and approvals.Design operations must embed these requirements into the process, otherwise the speed advantage will be offset by rework and risk.
